Volume I: Declarations of Temporal Acceptance
Being Daily Affirmations for the Regency Gentleperson
Who Has Embraced Supernatural Chaos
For Those Who Have Accepted That Reality Is Merely a Suggestion
Dear Affirmer of the Absurd:
You have discovered these affirmations at precisely the moment when you need them most—which is to say, after your reflection has begun attending assemblies without permission, your left gloves have formed a political organization, and your Tuesday has permanently relocated to another timeline entirely.
This is normal. Or rather, it is your new normal, and the sooner you accept this through daily affirmation, the sooner you may achieve peace with the fact that your village has moved three miles north, your shadow arrives at appointments before you do, and your tea tastes of moonlight and promises.
These affirmations are designed to help you embrace the magnificent chaos of supernatural existence in Regency England. They will guide you toward accepting that time is optional, that bargains you do not recall making serve purposes beyond your comprehension, and that your houseplants are discussing you in photosynthesis language with entirely justified criticism.
Speak these affirmations aloud each morning, preferably whilst standing in a fairy ring or gazing into a mirror that may or may not contain your actual reflection. Repeat them until you believe them, or until your words begin emerging as rhyming couplets, whichever comes first.
The universe rewards acceptance. Begin here.

Temporal Inconsistencies Are Expected
I am worthy of losing entire days to fairy rings and emerging unbothered by the temporal inconsistencies this creates in my social calendar.
My Reflection’s Independence
I embrace my reflection’s independent activities and trust that whatever assemblies it attends without me serve my highest good.
Centuries Are Constructs
I release my attachment to knowing which century I currently inhabit and accept that time is a construct designed to limit my experience.
